Start a conversationOur counsellors work with young children through to elders. One person, one couple, or one whole family at a time.
Founded in 2025 by Ms. Chathurika Ranatunga, Ms. Susila Hettiarachchi, and Ms. Kumari Nadeeka, Aloka Counselling Service was established with the noble vision of enhancing the mental well-being of our society.
Today, enriched by the expertise of a diverse team of professional counselors, our institution is dedicated to providing high-quality mental health services across various sectors. Our core responsibility is to provide the guidance necessary to navigate life's challenges with resilience and to build a balanced life centered on emotional and mental wellness.
No forms, no lecture, no rush to a conclusion. The first session is mostly you talking.
Your name, your story and your sessions stay inside this centre. Nothing leaves it.
Whatever brought you here, we have sat with someone carrying something like it.
Some people need four sessions. Some need a year. Neither is the wrong answer.
To create a healthier society where every individual leads a mentally resilient, happy and fulfilling life.
To empower individuals by providing professional, evidence based counselling services that address mental health challenges, enhance self confidence and improve overall quality of life.
Every program runs one to one, as a couple, as a family, or as a small group. Tap any card to ask about that one.
Company, dignity and gentle support through later years, for the elder and the family around them.
Slow, guided movement that lets the body let go of what the mind has been holding.
A simple daily practice for the days your thoughts refuse to sit still.
Find the reason again, then build momentum you can hold on ordinary mornings.
Confidence, focus and social skill, taught the way children actually enjoy learning.
Recovery walked one honest step at a time, with the family supported alongside.
Tools to unclench the jaw, slow the breathing and sleep through the night again.
For feelings that arrive long before the words do. Colour, texture and quiet expression.
Exam pressure, bullying, focus, and the ache of not quite belonging anywhere.
Learn to talk to each other again, and to build a marriage on more than hope.
A safe room where a child can be honest, through play, story and earned trust.
Guidance for the hardest job nobody trained you for. Raising a whole person.
ආතති කළමනාකරණ චිත්ර ප්රතිකාරාත්මක වැඩසටහන
A stress management programme that runs for six weeks and is built on art therapy. Stress does not always arrive as a feeling you can name. It sits in the shoulders, in the sleep, in the short temper at home. Art gives it somewhere to go.
Send one message on WhatsApp. Tell us as much or as little as you feel ready to. There is no form, and nothing you have to explain properly yet.
A first conversation to understand what is happening, who it touches, and which program would genuinely help. We will say honestly if it is not us.
A plan and a rhythm of sessions that fit around school, work and family. We review it as you go, and change it whenever your life changes.
Aloka was founded in 2025. Today a diverse team of professional counselors works to give you the guidance you need to meet life's challenges with resilience.

Bringing mental health awareness, stress management, and life-goal workshops directly to workplaces and schools across Sri Lanka.
If yours is not here, just ask it on WhatsApp. No question is too small, and none of them are silly.
Yes. What you share in a session stays between you and your counsellor. We do not discuss clients outside the centre, and we do not share your details with anyone, family included, without your agreement.
Not at all. Most people who reach us simply feel that something is not right and want to talk it through. Message us directly and we will take it from there.
It depends on the program, and on whether you come alone, as a couple or as a family. Message us and we will explain the timing and the fee clearly before you commit to anything.
Ask us when you message. For several programs we can arrange something that works if getting to the centre is difficult for you.
This is one of the most common reasons families reach us. Children often say far more through play, drawing and story than they ever will across a dinner table. Our child counselling and art therapy programs exist for exactly this.
That is a reasonable place to start from. You are welcome to message us with your questions and decide nothing at all. If we think another kind of support would serve you better, we will say so.
Tell us what you are most comfortable speaking and we will match you with a counsellor accordingly. Being at ease with the language matters more than most people expect.
Message us first and we will send directions, confirm a time that suits you, and answer anything you would rather ask before you arrive.
Also on 078 287 3358. The fastest way to reach us, and messages are read by a counsellor, not a bot.
No. 04, Sanghabodhi Mawatha, Wellampitiya. Message us and we will send a map pin straight to your phone.
Every session is booked ahead so the room, and the counsellor, are entirely yours.
One line on WhatsApp is enough. You do not have to explain everything, or anything, before someone answers you kindly.
